Owen needed a haircut sooooo bad. he was developing a wicked comb over. his hair was always in his face. the ironic thing is scarlett still has not had a real haircut. She really didnt have a ton of hair until owen was born.
My brother got married this last weekend. here are some pictures from the wedding. scarlett was the flower girl, and she did a great job. she looked so cute. i didnt know how i would feel about my brother getting married, and to be honest it was harder than i thought. i love his wife to death, but i am really close to my brother and it is hard to let go. i know krin is perfect for ryan and i saw how much they love eachother at the wedding. she cried the whole way down the isle and my brother was sobbing too. it was really beautiful. i know they are going to have a great life together...i just have to learn to except that another girl holds a higher place in his heart than i do anymore. i am glad that place goes to krin, i couldnt have picked anyone better for him.
scarletts favorite thing at the park Owen and the Panda Owen has a problem with pulling scarletts hair. we have a lot of pictures like this. but what you dont see is the screaming aftermath. then we have to explain to scarlett that he cant control what his hands do, so she has to forgive him. first day of school...doesn't she look happy! sorry it has taken me months to updated pictures and such...i have been busy busy busy! but here are some long awaited pictures. owen is seven months old and is getting his first tooth. :( it has not been the most fun experience in the world. he id trying so hard to crawl, he can scoot pretty well. he started waving the other day but we havent seen that again since. he says da da of course. not ma ma though...that would be way too easy. he has mikes laid back personality for sure, and scarlett is my high strung princess...just like her mommy! scarlett just finished her school. her teacher told me that she was a great little girl, she was so loving to all the other kids and she is really smart. her new thing is puzzles. the twenty four piece puzzles are too easy so we have stepped it up to 36 pieces. a few funny stories. the other day we were walking out of the house and i was telling scarlett to hurry up and she said "ahhhh, this is ruining my life!" i was shocked. i said "who told you that?" she tlod me that a boy on tv told her that. thank you IKEA commercials! thats the one story that comes to mind, maybe i will think of more later.
we are soon going to be selling our restaurant and condo. we want to move to a city...but we are not sure where. we are tired of owning a business. it was great and fun for the last few years but now we want to move on to other things...like a steady paycheck. i miss the city...so no matter where we go it will be a big city! another huge transition has been me working. i got a job as a receptionist, and i have not had a job in a year. i am missing my kids, but they are in good hands with my mom and grandma. and i get to see them on my lunch hour. i will only have this job until may so it is not that bad. owen is rolling over and laughing. scarlett is saying the funniest stuff...like the other day i asked her if she was getting sick and she said "No...Im dying!"she is so incredibly dramatic! just like me. i am still in school and it is killing me. i dont know why i took classes this semester. stupid stupid stupid! we are doing great and we cant wait to see where we will be in a year.
Last night my parents got me mike ryan and krin tickets to go see willie nelson. it was awesome. he is a great performer. it was nice to get out with out the kids and have a good time. but as soon as it was over we rushed home to see their cute little faces. thanks dad and martha! Here are some pictures of our night with willie.
My best friend holly got owen this onsie and one other one that he will wear when he is a little bigger, but i love them both. Also owen was a baby model for a local photographer recently. you can see some of the pictures at http://studiolaynephotography.com/ they are so cute.
